I am a singer, songwriter & producer, from Melbourne Australia. I’ve dedicated my life to my craft with great passion and I will continue to do so till the day I die. I make cinematic Alt-Pop songs to inspire and empower people. To me this is a cause worth dedicating my life to and a form of art worthy of being put out into the universe. I think the microphone is one the most incredible inventions of mankind. I often imagine that if I was transported back hundreds of years in time that I would just be a crazy person telling people about all these amazing inventions we will have in the future.However, I would have no idea of how to actually make any of the myself.Considering time has existed for approximately 14 billion years, I marvel in the brilliance of the microphone because I can record my voice saying a word at an exact moment and that unique moment in time is potentially preserved forever. It’s this phenomenon that means in today we can listen to great speeches from genius thought leaders in history or amazing music from many gifted artists that are no longer with us. It also means that I can communicate something I think and feel now to someone in the future 1 year, 5 years or even a 100 years from now.As a listener, I think music is much like food, we are what we eat. There is a tonne of awesome music out there with a beautiful message or feeling that is healthy for the mind and soul. However, there is mega tonnes of junk food options that may sound/taste great but is the substance behind it really good for our mind or is it just rubbish polluting our thoughts and lives?Knowing the art I make can be heard by someone on the otherside of the world and also has the possibility to well outlive my own esh and blood, gives me an interesting perspective. With this priveledge at the tip of my tongue I’ve realised that if I am going to put something out into the universe then it better be something worthwhile and meaningful that will have a positive impact on people.Otherwise its just a waste of such an incredible invention.If you have just discovered my music then thanks for listenning but if you have been following for a while already then thankyou for your ongoing support!Your true attention and comprehension of my life’s work is the highest currency of gratitude I could ever expect for my art.
